MF35 hydraulic valve

I would like to remove the hydraulic control valve from just under the front right side of the seat mostly due to a tripping hazard! If I can locate the cover for the valve delete, is there anything else that needs to be done to allow the three point hitch/draft to operate from the controls on the right side of the seat? I also removed what I believe is a mounting bracket for a mid-mounted mower. It was bolted onto the bottom of the clutch/flywheel housing and ran upward behind the right side radius rod just in front of the air cleaner. If any one needs this, let me know, as I have no use for it.

If you use the factory type plate in-place of the valve the 3 point will work like normal using the draft, and position controls on your right hand side.

They are on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYDRAULIC-LIFT-COVER-TOP-CAP-PLATE-MASSEY-FERGUSON-35-135-165-175-185-CAD-/362130998955?hash=item5450b086ab:g:WmoAAOSwYmZXNaAs&vxp=mtr

I might be interested in your hydraulic valve.
And I'm pretty sure I have that cover and the stand pipe.
My email should be open.

He can use the same stand pipe. I just took the one off my 65 and those Allen bolts were so rusted I had to drill the heads off and they are extremely hard so have plenty of drills handy. The bolts are 7/16 coarse thread.

Thanks Phil, I was pretty sure he could, just from looking at them.
I had to put a new pump and cylinder in mine last week. Loads of fun!
But now that it's working it might be nice to have remotes.

I don't know who decided that having the bolt(s) recessed into the valve body was a good idea. My brother bought a 135 that had the 2 spool valve, and it had one allen bolt that was recessed that he had to drill the head off. After that ordeal I took the valve, and spot faced the top were the bolt sat. Then I made a metal bushing that just fit inside the recessed hole (used a little green loctite to make the bushing stay put). Now you can use two regular 7/16 hex head bolts that are easy to get to unlike the sunk in allen bolt.

That is just what I was going to do but the valve was right in the way for these old legs to step over and I don't need it anyway. I've got a small one I made years ago when I was working in a machine shop (40 + years) and have taken it off every tractor that I had it on and sold. So if I need a valve I have it.
