MF 135 UK has an ALFA stamp on power steering reservoir. cant find any parts for replacement other than pump itself. Has anyone heard of this brand or know where replacement parts can be obtained? i am thinking it was an add on, however it has a decal on the hood cover below Massey Ferguson logo. The right side arm broke where it connects to spindle shaft. When going in reverse the slave side doesn't always follow the power driven side, then binds. the last time it broke at keyway. Is there a procedure for setting toe-in or any adjustments that could keep this from happening again.

Probably the name of the rebuilder (alfa) maybe. Usually its cheaper/easier to just replace the pump, if you rebuild it, it still may not work right. From the other problem sounds like you may need to re-bush the knees, the spindle shaft where its against the bushings maybe worn out, the spindle maybe sticking, and or other front end parts may need rebuilding/replacing.

Hello,
ALFA is not a name that I have heard of in the UK. Is this a genuine
MF steering kit? As PT has said it would be better to replace the
complete pump to avoid any further problems. Can you post a photo of
the pump? We could tell you for sure then.

I put a new pump on. maybe to much pressure. i have new bushings and new bottom load carrying spindle shaft bearings. I did find out that the
arm length is different from left side than on right side. This causes the turns to be different radiuses. definite problem. know one sells
just the drop arm joint. I can only find a complete kit. does a 135 steer easily manually? MY TO 30 does just fine but of course it is
smaller and lighter.

My 135 steers pretty easy without power assist, but if the steering box needs work (sector gears, bushings, etc) it can be a little difficult.
