I just got some items in from YT
I got the spin on oil filter kit for my 1964 MF 35 with Z134 and the Kit came with a Fram PB50 oil filter.
I also have a Napa Gold 1050 oil filter that I picked up a couple of weeks ago .
I have read in various different place that the Fram oil filters are not very good at all.
I suppose it would be better to use the Napa Gold Oil Filter if the Fram is not as good.
Anyone here with experience using both that can confirm or deny this?
Now for the conversion Kit itself
It came with no instructions just the plate with holes in it,2 gaskets and bolt that holds the Gaskets between the plate and the engine.
Do I need to use any gasket sealer to hold the gaskets in place on the engine or will just the Pressure of the bolt and the heat of the engine be enough?
What torque specs are recommend to tighten the bolt to the engine??
Or Just about as tight as I can get using a 8 inch or so 1/2 inch rachet?
