Hi everyone,
Just a quick couple of lines to let you know that we are thinking about you on this side of the pond if you are likely to be anywhere near the path of the hurricanes. It is difficult to imagine the wind speeds, probably more than double what we think of as bad over here.

Thank you. I live in the middle of Tornado Alley, we had one come within a hundred yards of our home, wiped level a neighboring residential subdivision. Left just the foundations standing. Left a pick-up truck sitting on top of propane tank. Removed friends cattle. Wiped out forests.
 
Our farm is about 120 miles from Rockport Texas, we got 6" of rain, and this.

David, you must have some nasty winds over the British isles. Maybe not a category 5 hurricane, but still. And Rockall sounds like a place nothing but the rock is left. :D
