Leaking power steering cylinder

My Mf 231 developed a oil leak on the right power steering cylinder. I ordered a kit, as a new cylinder was close to 300.00 Has any one repaired one of these cylinders? If so any helpful hints? Stan

I had to fix one on the 245, it has one not two, and I had a dealer put the kit in. It needed some whiz-bang tool to hold the end with 2 little dimples and I really didn't want to fool with it. If your cylinder shaft is worn it won't last long :-(
