Massey Harris Ferguson pony

So I have seen other posts, many internet pages, and much more with little to no information I found useful. Anywho, i have a 54 MHF Pony and yes you guessed it. I'm looking for exact color name, scheme, and any and all information which I will find very helpful of you mind to share it. I have read about the battleship grey, and about the same ferguson grey as the TO20/30 as both possibilities. Anyone have any input on those cases? I'm restoring mine for the second time cept doing it much better, the right way and for show cause this time around. I have found battleship grey in rattle can. And had a sample of ferguson grey made and shot some on my tool tray. Both look nice, but I want to get as close to original as I can get.

What is the exact type of your pony?

54 model should not have grey. The only Pony with grey rims should be the French Pony 821 model, with the FE35 look.

I have serial number PGA 22962. Stamped Massey Harris Ferguson limited. When i first got the tractor it was rustic red and in poor shape. Upon the first restoration and motor overhaul it became apparent the tractor must have been grey as it had many spots of grey under the red along with finding some flaky navy blue decals.

After Massey Harris acquired Ferguson they painted some Ponys Ferguson gray. They were sold by the Ferguson dealers. To determine a true Ferguson Pony it will have the same front axle as a Pacer.
