what is the nut size and tpi on the end of the camshaft? Thanks

Hi there,

I am sorry you have not gotten any answer yet. But, here is what I found.

1500098M1 1 Lock Nut For Cam Gear To Camshaft, Special, 7/8", 9/32" Hi. ( I assume it means 9/32 inch tall nut )

But nothing about TPI, unfortunately. Can it be UNF ? And if it is, 7/8" UNF has 14 TPI, and if it is UNC it is 9 TPI. And it is supposed to be a castle nut.

I hope this helpe, the information is taken from the AGCO Partsbook, and I must admit I have no clue about Massey Harris at all. Ferguson and some MF, but not the MH. Sorry.

I have a PONY OPERATING AND SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL Parts # 650 534 M2 (1949)

Someone has written in the manual "Engine in Allis Chalmers Tractor Model "G" is a Continental N.62 with many of the same components as a Massey Harris Pony"
