Massey Ferguson 698 reviews

I'm looking for a second loader tractor for my horse hay business. Been using my JD 4450 to load round bales for my customers. Want to get another loader tractor to dedicate to just loading round bales for my operation and customers. I also have a JD 3020, IH 3588, Oliver 77, JD 630, JD 60, etc but none of them are good candidates or already have dedicated ranch duties. Local C/L listing has a low hour Massey Ferguson 698 with M/F loader, cab, AC, great tires, and no dents or dings. Owner says it runs great and is field ready....wants 18K for it. Sounds a bit high but I don't have anything to compare it with or know anyone who has one or knows anything about them. I did some research and believe they were built in France and have the Perkins 4-318 diesel which except for some head gasket and hydraulic issues were pretty good engines. Anyone one have/had/or know much about the 698 and are parts readily available at a reasonable price. Would you consider buying a 698 for haying operations as I might use it as a backup tractor for the disc mower or the square/round baler. Thanks for any comments or reviews. Joe
