I don't know anything about the settings on the CAV fuel pumps. I was given a brand new CAV fuel injection pump but not sure if it will work on my MF 35X perkins diesel. I have the A3.152 engine. These injection pumps were used on generators powered by perkins engines. A lot of the AD3.152 engines powered the generators and were identical to the MF 135. But I am not 100% sure about this particular pump. A lot of the 135 parts work on the later model 35 and mine is a late production 1964

The numbers on the name plates don't match my old pump. My old pump works fine but it would be nice to have a back up spare. Otherwise I will give the pump back to him.

The lower photo shows pump has an advance block that your pump does not have, and the setting code no load speed is 1800 RPM, much lower than your pump. While it would probably work, it won't work RIGHT. Also if the new pump still has test oil residue inside, and kept sealed up it should work fine after setting on the shelf awhile. If it's had fuel run through it don't count on it working after setting awhile, internal parts will stick over time as the fuel gets stale.
