I had a recent post about my massy and how
its almost ready to do some work.. i
drained the rear end/tranny oil and want to
fill it back up. Someone on here said it
takes 13 1/2 gallons of oil. That seems
like alot and i want to make sure.. the
shop down the road gave me 80/90 and said
it should hold about 7 gallons. So if they
wer wrong about the amount are they wrong
about the 80/90 also.. what do i put in
there and how much.. its a 1955 massy
harris 33 gas. Thank you

Should be a level plug somewhere on the side of the Trans case. Looks like a pipe plug, behind the pulley, maybe? Fill to that level. Ben

80/90 w oil is what you need , if your tractor is a row crop model 38" tires it will take 13 US gallons ,if it is a standard version 28" wheels it will take 12 US gallons , there should be a fill hole on top of the transmission cover to the left of the gear shift.
