MF 35 perkins valve adjustment

I want to check the valve clearance. Probably a dumb question but how hard is it to rotate the crank shaft to find the TDC line in the inspection opening behind the rubber elongated plug?

The tractor is completely assembled and I'm wondering how hard it is to turn the crank over?

Do I do this with the pulley?

The valve lash on a cold engine is .012" intake, and exhaust. Remove the rubber plug removed from the inspection hole. When both rocker arms are loose on the #1 cylinder (front cylinder) the TDC mark on the flywheel should be in the middle of the inspection hole. Check the clearance on valves 1,2,3, and 5. Rotate the crankshaft one revolution clockwise 360 degrees (use a socket on the front crank pulley bolt to turn the engine) the TDC mark will again be in the center of the inspection hole, then adjust the clearance on valves 4, and 6. Note, when viewing the valves/rocker arms from the front to the back of the head the #1 valve/rocker arm is the at the very front of the head, and the #6 valve/rocker arm is at the very back of the head (valves front to back 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6).
