Changing fluids in Massey ferguson 202

Hello
I have been reading the forums for a long time but this is my first post I bought a 202 with a front end loader and power steering. It has the gear drive trans and a front mount pump. I usually deal with farmalls and wanted to know what type of fluid and the amount for the trans, front end loader and steering. Thanks in advance

Since oil/fluid has changed so much since the 202 was made this is kind of a tricky question. The transmission fluid takes MF Spec M-1110 fluid. The loader uses the same oil as the transmission, the power steering is supposed to use the old type A automatic transmission fluid, but most people now use the same fluid as the transmission, and hydraulic. Some of the newer fluids can attack the yellow brass, and old seals that were used in hydraulic systems in these tractors.

You will probably get some different answers on this.

Thanks for the info if I use generic fluid that meets those specs is there any that you know of that will not eat the brass

You can still get the type A fluid at most auto parts stores. I would stick with what works and not chance it.
