Hello everyone, I have a MF 135 with Perking engine that I want to put a front mounting hydraulic pump. I plan to use de lift pump housing for the oil. I have found a return on the left side cover but i'm not sure for the inlet. There is this small cap with an allen screw but it seems very small. The pump is a 12 gallons. Thanks for the help!

Hi there!
Assuming your plan is to use the pump for a FEL, can I ask why you are not planning to use the existing lift pump to operate the loader? On the Perkins engined 135 the lift pump is well capable of operating a loader (main rams, tilt and crowd) via a diverter valve fitted the cover outlet (to the front rh side of the seat) and a set of spool valves. My 135 happily operated a set-up like this for many years using a MF 40 loader, loading manure, stacking bales, operating a snow plough....

This of course would not work if you need to use the 3pt linkage at the same time, but I would assume you would be hanging a counterbalance on the linkage at a fixed position?

If this is not your plan, then I'm talking nonsense and I apologise for wasting your time!!!

Jim
