Difference between MF 130 and 135?

Can someone tell me the differences between the MF 130 and 135? Appears to me that they were produced in the same timeframe, or at least overlapping timeframes. Looks like the 130 only came with the 4 cyl diesel....what else is all different?

Battery is the same. Absolutely everything else is different. A 130 is an entirely French made MF product. Smaller obsolete Perkins diesel, very different arsend. Even different wheels. So if you are looking for a parts tractor for a 135... this ain't it...
If you want a semi rare conversation piece tractor, the 130 is one to have.

Good information. I'm not considering one at all, just curious. Were they positioned in 2 different marketplaces?

Hello,
Much has been said below relating to the 130....all correct of course.
The 130 was developed from the earlier French-made 25 and 30 models using the Perkins A4.107 engine. This engine had something of a history of throwing conrods out through the side of the block if the breather became blocked and the oil turned to a gel.
When the DX or 100 Series was introduced at the Royal Smithfield Show in London in December 1964 the 130 was offered as a small farm tractor and suitable for use in horticulture. Even at this time implements were starting to get bigger and the 130 priced at around ?500 was struggling to cope. large numbers of UK farmers saw the Banner Lane Coventry-made 135 as a far better option with its extra 15HP and coming in at a starting price of around ?600....still a lot of money then!!!! The picture is from the 1966 MF sales booklet 'Good Farming begins with Massey Ferguson'.
There are very very few that earn their living now and as Tony says they are a good conversation piece.
In the UK we tend to think of the 135,165,175 and 178 as the entire range but in France they also produced 122, 133, 140, 145,155,models generally to cater for a specific slot in the European market. There are of course the other 100-series models produced in the US.
The 135 has turned out to be the most popular tractor of all time and I would suspect passed the TE/TO 20 in terms of numbers made.....and most of 'em still going.
