Massey 1100 PTO clutch

I have an 1100 that the PTO does not work correctly on. The PTO will turn, until it gets a load on it, then it stops, would that be worn clutches or something else? Everything else like steering and brakes are working. It worked until the coupling to the front pump went out, I fixed that but the PTO is still not working.

Could be burned plates, best to check the apply pressure to see what it is.

How would I go about checking the apply pressure? What should the pressure be? What is a good shop manual that would have these specs in it and steps to change clutches? Thanks for the reply.

Could be a variety of things, bad seals in the unit, or the selector in the dash has bad seals! Then shaft issues, could have stripped on the front shaft and yet hold
enough to run the housing and charge pump to give you hydraulic pressure until work the pto. Could be the back shaft stripped or the coupler, or could be just bad plates.
Need to start somewhere eliminating possibilities, pressure test should come first!
