I am looking for some one who mite have some engine and bearings parts manuals. The would need to be from about 1950 to 1964. I am looking for some specific part numbers. thanks Irv

I am looking for engine part and bearing numbers for the early hardly used L-4 engine and its European replacement 4-270 not to be confused with the ones Massey or Oliver used. These were used in Cockshutt mostly. Bearing numbers and piston and piston rings are the main thing I need. thanks Irv

The old Michigan bearing book shows the Perkins 4-270 three main crank set #1357P, all three main saddles use the same width bearing shells, 1.724 inch long. I happen to have some Perkins bearings and rings for a Cockshutt Golden Eagle, belongs to a friend that has not come around to getting the engine together yet. Will see if I can find the Perkins rings and main bearing boxes, think the mains are .030 undersized. The five main crank saddles 1,3,and five used 1.445 long bearings, 2 and 4 used 1.255 long bearings.
