Maybe Dumb Question Here

one difference was Ferguson could not figure out what color to paint the TO35 back then,

1955 gray and green
1956 beige and green (most rare) color combination as they were the early 1956 models (I think)
then later in 1956 beige and gray, but who knows what serial number they made the color change
1957 beige and gray
1958 red and gray and still today they are red and gray.

you could get a cheap TO35 with out double clutch (special) no headlights, lower cost,

better hood latch on MF35, am sure there were other minor changes to motor and drive train
all were good tractors if you maintained them.

picture of my TO35 1957 that some dummy me painted it red to look like other Fergusons, it was beige and gray, wish now I had not done that.

I have four TO-35's and one MF-35. all have same engine, trans, rear and pto. (at least as far as I know) the only difference I can easily see is the mentioned hood latch.

David,
I had seen the "Tractor Overseas" on this forum, but didn't really know if it meant they were all manufactured for export or did they sell TO-35's in Great Britain? I know my MF-35 is a model FE (Ferguson England) 35 manufactured in Coventry, England. At least that's what the serial number tag says.
