Multi power went out

Finally got the front end together, fired her up and went off to use the hog. 10 minutes later multi-power doesn't come out of lo range, so she freewheels down hill on me. Adjusted the rod, didn't change anything. What is the fix for multi-power?

On what model tractor? Low oil would be the first thing I'd
check.

Sorry, MF 135. Not low oil, just pulled oil/water out of tranny/hyd and replaced, also new filter.

Is the linkage from the dash working well? Sometimes a little adjustment is all that's needed. Double check where the rod goes down into the casting, and push/pull it there, if it works there then your linkage just needs adjustment.

Sorry i see you already adjusted the rod in your first post. But just double-check it...before you tear it apart.
