MH I-162 Needs Rear Tires

So I walked out to Bessy this morning and her right rear was completely flat and the checking blew out so the tire is destroyed at this point (I believe these are probably the originals from 1953). Either way, the size that I see on the tires are 12.00 x 28. I have read some articles stating that old tire numbers are not the same as new ones. Would anyone know what size I should be looking for? Any idea of a good retailer where I could purchase these monsters? Thank you in advance

Call M E Miller tire=1-800-621-1955 to get your answer.I can't find his chart, but that numbering system(hundred numbers) is totally different sizing from the 11-28,12-28,13-28 numbering system.Industrial tires are or canbe numbered that way.Call him and he will get you help.

You need 13.6x28 tires and tubes. It looks like you have split rims on the tractor. PLEASE be very careful if you attempt to do this yourself. If they are split rims, you may find you need a liner to slip over the rim so the rim does not chew up your new tube. Yes guys they put split rims on the rear of some tractors, I ran into a dozen or so of them in the 20 years I installed rear tires.
