1428v good enough for mowing tall stuff?

Looking at a 1428v compact tractor with 5 ft. bush hog, loader and grader blade for $9500. All is in good shape. 1200 hrs. My concern is that I'm used to a bigger, wider conventional tractor, a 33hp diesel fordson. Can this little tractor mow 6 ft tall grass anything like my worn out old fordson? Seems so small. I'm just a bit skeptical I guess. I'm thinking I will appreciate the maneuverability, just worried about stability due to being such a narrow stance and having enough power. Any thoughts? Any input is appreciated. Also, is there a way to make the rear wheels wider for stability?
