My uncle, who grew up in the world of muscle cars, has offered to buy me a electronic ignition for my tractor. Iv looked in the store here, but there not showing one. So where would the next best place be to buy it?

I dont really trust sellers on ebay for such a thing, unless they come with a recommendation.....

It'll likely be one of these:

It turns out that it was the 3rd link in Shaeff's post. I had to take my cell camera and snap a picture of the backside of the distributor in order to get the number off it.
Its ordered, thanks all!

One tip on the electronic units. Make sure you install it someplace out of direct sun light. Even the slightest bit of sun light gets into the eyeball and it's toast!

So this thing is quite adamant about having 3 ohms of resistance across the coil. When I bought all new ignition components for this tractor a year ago I bought the coil off of yesterday's tractors that said it had an internal resistor. When I check the resistance across the primary it showing about 1.5 ohms of resistance.

Shouldn't a internally resisted coil have a lot more than that?
