MF 275 hydraulic problems

Hey everyone I'm new here thank you.

I have a MF 275 only getting 500 psi out of the rear remotes, figured I would ask before I tore down and replaced the main pump.

1. Any suggestions before I break down and rip into it?
2. How hard is it to replace the pump? Any tips and tricks before I start?

On the right side of the top cover by the top cap there is a plug in the side roughly where your knee is. Put the pressure gauge in there and see what you get. If it's still low then pull the bottom bolt from the right side cover and let the oil drain down to that point and pull the cover. With the engine idling use a mirror and flashlight to look inside and check for leaks, squirts etc. Also make sure the filter is not clogged.
Does the 3 point work properly and lift something heavy?
 
The 3 point works but i don't think it can lift a really heavy load. We don't really use the 3 point often on that machine.
 
That port will check the three point pump, not the auxiliary pump. There's a good chance the auxiliary pump has a split steel line inside that goes to the left side cover port, that's what I had happen on a 275 two years ago. Found it while running it with the lift cover off and the pressure gauge on the side cover port that feeds the spool valve..
 
I was wondering if you found the problem when you
tore into your tractor? I have a 275 and am having a
similar problem. I can lift a 4x6 bale no problem on
the front end loader and with the 3 point but it will
not lift a 5x6 bale but a couple inches on the front or
back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My tractor also makes a squealing sound and kicks
the lift lever for the front end loader when it is
loaded and in the constant pumping position. I have
not checked pressure yet but will try when I get
home.
