Got a gas MF 65. When the throttle is pulled down all the way it stays until the engine RPMs get up to maybe 1,1800. Then the throttle lever would go back up, and the engine would slow to about 1,500 RPMs.
I got up under the dash and tightened the bolts on the friction disks. Now the throttle lever is very stiff, and it will hold at about the PTO RPM mark. But no more.
I'm wondering if the governor needs adjusted. But I have no idea how to go about doing that. Was hoping you guys might have some insight.
