204 Workbull Forklift - The Video

Here is the other video https://youtu.be/XJrwxRl7yUI I just hadn't published it. I missed the part where it actually fired for the first time which is regrettable but the part where it is running is mere minutes from when it initially fired up. So considering how long it had been sitting, it acted like it had just been stored for a few months over winter.

Good sounding motor. I have my eye on a fork lift massey. Owner said he has it running but the fork lift doesn't move and thinks its the tranny. How high does yours lift?

Looking in the back ground there, i see another potential use for this rig... lifting horses and leaving them on the 2nd floor, stuff like that... i see the spindle snapped right under the axle yoke/bushing? Is that part still OK? Tires look very nice!

Yes, I believe that part is all ok.

Well as far as lifting horses, we had discussed it being a bit less traumatic (for the wife) to lift one in the air as opposed to dragging it once it is no longer breathing...........and needs to be placed in a hole in the ground.

The height of the mast almost triples when at full height. I'll have to take a measurement. I'm guessing 24' or so........it'll be good for lifting shingles up to the roof and that'll be happening later this summer on the house and garage.

Inno, now all you need for your collection is MF Tractor Shovel.

I've heard tell of them. Looks like it could lift a pretty hefty load! If I come across one I'm likely to want to snag it. Haven't come across any but anything is possible.

Yeeeaaaa, that was my first thought as a joke... but i don't know what kind of sense of humor your other half has.. especially when it comes to gals and their ponies...
The thing in PT's picture is what i was talking about, the one that? never sold? near New York City was a TO30, Sherman made the loader and reverse gear. Just seems that doing a tune up might be as awkward as working behind the dash??

The forklift is very easy to get to for tune up, I can see where that loader might be a real pain in the behind!
The wife has a pretty good sense of humor even when it comes to her fur babies so no worries there. And I would be the kind of guy who might put one of 'em on a 2nd floor somewhere if we had one that would hold it!

Since I still have my MF2135 industrial with the manual shuttle shift, and if I can find a FEL cheap I may make my own tractor shovel. I have all the welding, fabricating, and machine shop equipment so I can make it work.

Sounds like it would be a fun project! A little bigger loader would be nice from time to time.

I have a 743b Bobcat, it's handy to have, but it's too small for some jobs. The old D4 with the front end loader we have is nice, but too slow for the occasional jobs that are too big for the Bobcat.
