super 90 problems

Looking at a super 90 diesel. It's getting fuel in
crankcase and PTO is stuck on. The PTO control
leaver is on the left side of transmission and has
ground neutral and live positions. It's in live and
won't move. Also the fuel supply pump has been replaced so I'm inclined to say the injection pump seal is out. Any advise on these problems and what could cause them?
 
Yes, the injection pump drive seal can fail over time too. Just repaired a Perkins 4.248 pump for the same trouble. Always wise to try the supply pump first though..
 
my recommendation is if it has a Multi-power transmission just keep looking at it and let someone else own it.
I own three Massey's ,none with a multi-power
