230 Clutch Adjustment

Good Monday morning everyone. I'm almost ready to but the 230 engine I rebuilt back in and have a clutch question. It says in the manual to adjust the 3 release bolts around 3.25" from the inner lip of the flywheel to the top of the bolt heads. Can someone tell me or show me a diagram on how to do that please? I can't seem to figure out how a person could do this accurately. Thanks for your help.

Basically it's a piece of bar stock that is at least the width of the flywheel. A pin on both ends that is 3.25" long is attached so that they will sit on the edge of the flywheel. Think of it like a large U shaped tool.

On the 3 release bolts you do not want more than 2 rounds of threads sticking out the backside of the arms as they can contact the rivets on the clutch disk when you depress the clutch pedal all the way in.
