Could anyone tell me what color a Massey Harris r-14 engine is were they green with red fly wheels or were they all red this is
the engine cushman made for Massey harris

I have the R-20 3 HP Cushman that's painted all gray. Saw a Massey-Harris like yours at a show that was painted black, not sure if that's correct though. The MHF history book I have shows the Cushman line, but the photos are black & white, does not say what color they were.

It seems that their is less information on these engines than the type 1 and type 2 engines

That's for sure! Have a 1 1/2 and 6 HP type two engines also that should run on kerosene, but no more than I play with them I use gas. Boil eggs in the small one, and hot dogs in the large one...
