What Wheel to buy

New User
We have a 1977 Massey 275 with 6 rail spin-out wheels.
They are bad and need replacement.
Do not use the spin-outs any more, so need new wheels w/o spin-out wheels.
Tires are 15.5 x 38 on 14 inch wheels, 6 ply.
Can we buy non spin-out wheels to fit these tires?
What wheel part number, and where can we buy them?
Hope I've explained everything correctly.

If you don't use spin out you will have to buy centers also. Look at salvage yard for
good used ones. Miller Tire in Ohio has wheels don't think they sell centers.

Here's the biggest non-spinout wheel parts book shows for a 275.
Part number 843156M1 Rim (14 x 30") (For 16.9 x 30 Tire) (Std.).
Part number 190034M4 Wheel Center, Rear (Std.).
Part number for a replacement spin-out rim 535466M1 Rim (14 x 38") (For 15.5 x 38 Tire)(RC).

If you want to get away from power-adjust they have several 38X14 rims that are less than half that price, but as others have said you would need centers to mate them to the MF275.

They also have some "blank" 38X14 as low as $85 that you may be able to have welded to your salvageable centers. Are you going to need the wheel thread width set at an exact spacing for row crop work?

I would first try to see if you can repair/patch weld what you have, or look in salvage yards, and then inquire of dealer like Hey Wheel, Miller Tire, Unverferth dealers, etc.
