MF 100 loader on MF 135

I am looking at an MF 135 to buy, and it has a MF 100 loader on it, in quite good shape. I would remove and sell the loader off of it, and so I want to figure that into the purchase price. What can I expect to get for it? I don't see many for sale online, its hard to know a real life value for it.

(quoted from post at 08:20:49 04/05/17) Out of curiosity why dont you want the loader on it? They come in very handy...

x2. I never would have purchased my 35 Utility if it didn't have a loader on it. I use it for [i:a4f6b08424]everything[/i:a4f6b08424].

The loader can be pretty handy unless you already have something else that has a loader. If you don't need it look around, and see what loaders are going for $$ wise where you live. Where I live loaders are pretty expensive, a good used working one can go for around $3000 (usually $5000-$6000 brand new). One that needs some work will sell for $1500. Do research on prices around where you live, since it fits a 135 specifically that could raise, or lower the price. Take some pictures of it before you take it off the tractor. If I were looking for a used loader for a 135 I would like to see it on a 135 before buying it.

The reason I would remove the loader is because I already have a loader tractor, and a 135 is on my bucket list. Just looked at it this morn, here she is in all her glory. No power steering. Tach not working. Sheet metal is good and straight, hood needs some adjustment, but overall is in good original condition. The loader has some welds etc but works very nice.

Even without a FEL, and no power steering the tractor better be moving while you turn. If you have to stop, and turn its not easy to turn.

Are the hydraulics run off the crank, diverted from 3 pt, or pto?

Are the hoses in good shape?

Is everything functionally sound?

The bucket looks in good shape.

Would be worth more if it has all the stuff to run off the crank.

In my area, even with everything working well you wouldn't get more than $1,200. I paid $100 for a 102 and then put about $700 into it basically rebuilding the bucket, painting, crank shaft hookup, etc. He had it for sale for 2 months for $100 before I bought it. Works well now.

The hydraulics are run from the front of the tractor, see pic here. Thanks for your answer, nrowles, this was helpful. the hoses are all in nice shape, something I forgot to add is that it also has a valve plumbed in right under the loader controls, so you can use a remote if needed.

You could fabricate another pump mount for the front and get something like a 5pgm at 2000rpm pump. Then tie it in to the tractors transmission/hydraulics for a reservoir so you can still keep your remotes without having to go a diverter valve that uses the 3point pump.
