Got another 175 D massey-ferguson. I'm wanting to put a loader on it and wondering, any suggestions as to a good
brand ? size ?. Other suggestions. I have never had a tractor new enough before to put one on. I know about the
front not being that strong. Looking for a used one. One place asked if it had weight mount brackets. Is that
the four threded screw holes in the sides?it had a trip bucket loader on it that was junk and the dealer took off
and junked.I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hi, can't really comment on US-made loaders as we have quite a few to choose from in the UK and Europe. The front weight carrier is normally bolted at the front face and to the side points at the bottom of the side panels. The square 4-bolt mounting points on each side should not be in the way. These would be the normal points for the front part of the loader frame. Don't be tempted to buy a loader that has to be modified. If it is not done correctly there will be a weakness there that could cause major problems if it failed. A power loader will be well worth any extra expense. Have a look at my posting about a week back 'MF3060 and MF 880 loader'. It might give you an idea.

Thanks I'll watch out for modifications. From what I have been told I'll need a back mount it has back mount brackets on it from old loader.
