hey it quits popping when I remove the # 4 wire from the dist cap and hold it about a 1/2" above the terminal got really good spark no popping the second I plug it in then it starts popping again i'm using champion d-16 plugs this thing had a popping issue since day one if I give it some gas with the rod it really gets bad pops out enough gas , to soak the back of the altinator did a comp test at cold temp got 110 -115 psi #2 the tractor has two pedal on right one is for forward motion the other is for reverse auto reverse trannie with a tourque convert two pedals on left with rods that go back two the rear axel left side with two levers sticking out of differential have one huge nut that holds the rim on too the axel so I presume the brakes are internal wet brakes..?.?.? the bucket has the main lift rams mounted inside two big square tubes mounted low and support arms mounted on top m f 205.?.?.? front crankshaft mounted hyd pump

Have you verified you have the correct firing order and direction plugged into the cap for the wires?

yes the firing order is correct

Pop of the tank, and valve cover and check the operation of the intake valve on that cylinder. It may not be closing fully. May need the valves adjusted.
