Greetings. Been lurking a bit gathering knowledge. My little 35 has been interesting to say the least. I'm not unfamiliar working on things such as this but this one has me puzzled. Have done the usual maintenance stuff to keep it running well carb rebuild, tune up, etc. It has a habit lately of getting up tp temp and dying, or if under load it will start losing rpm nd gain again over and over. Sometimes it helps a bit to pull the choke out but eventually dies. Let it cool off some and will run again a bit and repeats prob. I have checked gas tank venting. I keep the sediment bowl dumped. It seems to be fuel related but again I don't know. Carb settings seem to be right. Any ideas?

(quoted from post at 08:21:27 03/20/17) Did you route your fuel line to close to something hot? That sounds like vapor locking to me..

Sir, you seem to be absolutely correct. Didn't take much tweaking either. Went out to water my trees and had no probs. Thank you.
