MF F40 hour meter/RPM gauge

Just purchased this tractor and after getting it.home and running it I noticed that the hour meter does not work, followed the cable.and found it to be zip tied below the carb on the right hand side of the engine, where does this plug into? Haven't found an obvious spot yet, trying to get all of my gauges up and working.

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I go, thanks for the help

It would have hooked on the back of the generator.

So I guess there is not way to hook them up now.?...That's a bit of a bummer

Did someone put an alternator on it? You'll need to put it back
to a Genny or get an alternator with a tach drive.

Or you could replace it with an electric one instead of mechanical.
