Vertical lever control fingers

I am attempting to rebuild my lift cover and I am stuck at the point of piloting the cam fingers into their respective cams with the control quadrant is already installed? Manual says to remove rear bolt on mounting bracket and loosen the front bolt. How do I know if the fingers are in the cams correctly and how would I tighten mounting bracket bolt once lift lever is installed?

Also I have a replacement spring for the draft position control arm I need help in how to install.

Thank you

Ok it took some work, and I believe I have the hydraulic assembly installed. I did not get a chance to examine what it al looked Iike before the hydraulic cover was removed since another guy removed the cover and the hydraulic cylinder bolts. By the time I got to it the cam springs and control fingers were out of the cam assemblies. Now that have it together per instructions from the service manual, the vertical leaver seems really stiff with the cam springs!and is fully depressing the dashpot plunger. Manual says that there is to be .002 clearance between dashpot plunger and vertical lever with 3 lbs tension on vertical lever. As if now, it takes more than 3 lbs of pulling force to depress dashpot plunger and any adjustment of the draft adjustment bolt does not seem to help.

It looks like the control fingers are in correct position and adjust when the draft and position knobs are moved. Am I missing something or is this normal?

Thank you
