My 1100 Massey for some reason the injector pump is sucking oil up out of the crank case I removed the return line
on the bottom of the pump that returns the fuel back to the filters and it has engine oil coming out of it not a little a lot
I have bypassed the lift pump with an electric fuel pump so I know that the lift pump is not sucking it up and I am not
getting fuel in the crank case what could be the problem
 
Something is not right with the pump drive/oil pump worm drive area. The injection pump quill drive on early engines, or the uprate drive on late engines should not be seeing full engine oil pressure when running. Pump internal pressure is about 5 PSI, oil pressure is around 50 PSI. Might be able to see what's wrong by pulling the injection pump, then the pump mounting adapter plate. There should be relief grooves on either the plate or gear area, don't remember which to keep oil pressure away from the pump drive seals.
 
We did remove one of the splines on the injector pump shaft because a dealer told us that's how to fix the problem
 
I doubt that would help. BUT if there's a couple small oil relief notches cut across the lower thrust area of the pump mounting plate would help. Anything to take any trapped oil pressure away from the injection pump seal area. Thrust washers usually have notches cut across so oil can get to the thrust area, if worn enough that the notches are gone may be what's causing your trouble. Early injection pumps with the quill drive shaft used one seal, later uprate drive pumps used two. Neither will hold back oil pressure as they are not designed to, only need to hold crankcase pressure, and internal pump pressure.
 
Do you think that it would help to drill a small hole in the bottom of the injector pump mounting plate to help the oil excape that area faster
