MF165 vs MF65

I am looking at 2 used tractors a 165 gas and a 65 gas. I am familiar with a 65 and have owned one for years, but
wonder if anything is different on the 165 except the sheet metal? Both have the Continental gas engine and standard
transmission. Is there anything different or unique on the 165 that I should carefully check?

some later model 165s came with the more heavy duty square axle with better brakes too. I've used neighbors 65 gas few times, it seems lighter in the arse than my 165 (granted my 165 is a diesel with wet brakes). Check tractordata.com for specs, think the 165s have bit more weight and little more power also. Pretty similar otherwise. I'd choose the one in better condition. Both good for raking/tedding, mowing. good luck
