MF 20 zenith carburetor

I have a MF 20 with a zenith carburetor that acts like it's starving for fuel. I am new to MF. Where
the fuel line comes into the carburetor looks like a fuel filter. Wondering where I can find one.
Thanks for your help, Mark

Not sure if yours has it but some had a screen on the 90 that screws into carburetor. Just screw our and clean screen. Also the fuel bowl has screen where it screws into tank unless someone has removed it.

Worth mentioning too that if you have a rubber fuel line replace it with a metal one. There should be no filter between the sediment bowl and the carb. Only the screen in the sediment bowl and possibly one in the carb fitting. Gravity feed fuel systems and traditional filters dont tend to mix to well.

Hmmm, that's interesting, never heard that before. From what you have experienced, what is the issue? I have always had a small inline fuel
filter in my tractors and never had any issues.

Just random carb issues. One minute it seems to run lean and sputter and the next minute it's fine. Tried a couple different kinds of the inline jobs and have just not had consistent results. Remove the filter and just use what massey intended and have had no issues. Others may not have had issues but i know i am not alone in this. Living up at 7k feet i'm sure doesn't help any either.
