MF 135 with z134

Depends on what you mean by "limited use".. If you mean occasionally start it up to move it around and not let it get up to temp then dieseltech is spot on. If you mean crank it up once a year to go bale hay for a day then you want to stay in a normal heat range.
Either way avoid the platinums and miltispark jobs.

I run the Autolite 388 in my Z134, I think its the best plug for a Z Continental. With the low 6.0:1 compression ratio the 134 has it needs all the help it can get (if it had 12.0:1 that would be a different story).

How does the Autolite 386 compare to the 388? My 202 had the 386 plugs in it when I bought it and it ran like a dog. I put new Autolite 386 plugs in it and it ran fine.

386, less hot?

The 386 is a "in the middle" between a hot, and cold. It can get fouled out easier than the 388.
