MF 50 won't lift high enough

My 50 won't lift high enough for the post hole digger to clear.....It used to. It's not a weight thing, it will lift a round bale fine. Just lifts up about 3/4 of the way and stops, I just didn't notice until I tried the digger. Position and draft levers are all the way back. I put a new pump in since I have used the digger last. Thanks for the help!

I'd suspect something is not set right, you should NEVER have the draft lever close to the top. The adjustable stop for the position control at the quadrant top may need setting too. With the arms empty and raised all the way up by hand scribe a line across the lift cover and arm. Using the position control raise the arms and set the top stop so the lines are 1/8 inch apart, just short of all the way up. Now set the top stop bolt to limit the position lever raise travel. If you hear the relief valve blowing set it a bit lower. You should NOT hear it blow when the position control is fully raised. If this adjustment does not work the lift cover levers and/or the pump lever are not set right inside.

When you had the top cover off to replace the pump did you adjust the linkage? Any other repairs while you had it apart?

So you did not adjust the linkage when you had it apart? Do you have a manual? You could try doing the final adjustment between the lever and pump and see if that helps. The one where you have to take the draft side cover off.

Oh take that back.. The 50 does not have that adjustment. Does sound like the linkage is not adjusted right though like dieseltech suggests.
