Pro on Massey Ferguson 85

I just inherited a Massey Ferguson 85 it has a bucket on the front that works fine but I can't get the 3 pt to move up or down. There's 3 positions on the pto lever. I have put it in all 3 positions and nothing happens what else do I need to do?

I there are 2 knob that turn one is under the seat the other is on the side of the bucket lever will they have any thing to do with it

Is your bucket being driven by its own pump or plumbed into the top cover and using the internal pump?

On top cover with 2 levers on it

Ok those levers control which way the flow goes. I am only aware of the one lever type so one of the other guys will have to chime in on the two lever variety. But they do have to be in the right position.

Just put you model and make and find the tractor entry on the left. There is also a link there for manuals. The "big" manual is well worth the 100 bucks in my opinion.
