Anyone have a good number for the seal behind the gear on the Cessna power steering pump on a 65 gas? Every time I fill the reservoir I gain oil in the engine.

Google the Agco online parts book, search for model 65, make Massey Ferguson. book 690237, pg 194 comes up with the following information : 191424M91 1 Pump Assembly, Hydraulic (Cessna #20190-06BIB ) and 1021972M1 1 (A) Seal, Oil item # 39 0f the pictorial break down. Of course this is some what dependent on the tractor serial #, so you want to check that out following the info above to see if it fits your serial #..

Thanks!

Bumping this old thread, hoping for some answers:

Bret, did you ever get this fixed? I've got my pump pulled and a new seal, but having issues getting the drive gear off. Is the nut left handed thread?

Everything I've tried leads me to believe I'm going to strip that little nut on the end.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just to update for anyone else who may have this issue, the nut on the end of the drive gear for the power steering pump is regular thread, mine was just seized. I ended up chucking it between two blocks of wood in my vice and using a sharp chisel to split the nut. Popped right off, cleaned the corrosion, new seal going in tonight.
