MF 3545 FWA Any Problems?

I've never really heard of any big problems with these tractors......it has a intercooled 354 Perkins which I believe was set around 100hp.......they had a two speed electric powershift......like a multipower.......not sure of speeds. Don't think they used that 24speed out of the 2000 series......just not sure there!!??
Never heard anyone complain on hydraulic performance.
Your starting to get into the start of more advanced electronics with this series......check the wiring out good for critters chewing on wires or someone playing electrician and going nuts with wire cutters!
Might want to check on parts availability before you go buying......these tractors are getting some age on them now and don't think they produced a lot of these tractors!?
I believe this is the last tractor marketed as solely Massey Ferguson before Varity took over........these were built in the 80's about time MF was under financial stress......I always liked the looks of that series.
Good luck

We have a 3505 that is a good tractor, not fwa.

The electronic three point hitch controller went bad. Since we do not need draft control on that tractor I just replaced the electronic thing with up and down buttons.

That is all of the electronics that there is (other than gauges and warning lights).

Remote hydraulic controls are mechanical linkages to valves.

Parking brake is probably not working, very easy to forget to disengage. Need a big red light on the dash.
