MF 1100 Center Hydraulic Screen

Anybody know where I can get the hydraulic screen filter for the center sump of a MF 1100. The MF part number shows 503520M2 in
AGCO on-line parts book. I can't cross reference that to anything. Help is appreciated.
 
Not sure if we are talking the same thing......you referring to the screen in rear sump under rearend just forward of the drawbar? If so and memory serves me right then.....
If you can't buy it new from a MF dealer then try a salvage yard.......not sure if it's the same as a 1135,1155 but if it is then it's a reusable steel screen that you rinse out and reuse time and time again.

Not sure what company name, but I've seen larger screens that have heavy magnets inside, put one in a neighbor's 1135 a few years ago. Looked like a good setup.
 
Massey has upgraded the screen to the one used in the MF 1155. The screen will be a bit shorter, so you will need the bolt as well.
You can order these parts from your local Agco. Screen 586854m1...and the bolt 354611x1, subs to 7773864.
Don't fall over when they tell you the price of the strainer.

Thank you. The AGCO dealer confirmed the info Wayne provided and has ordered a filter & bolt for me. When I asked the price, parts guy suggested I sit down - $168. I considered rigging up something cheaper. However, there is too much expensive equipment down stream of this filter. Not worth the risk. I got almost 50 years out of the original. If I get another 50 years out of the new one, I will let the next owner worry about a replacement. All things considered, the 1100 has been remarkably trouble free and is still going strong.
 
168 sounds like a reasonable price to me, you need to figure if you take care of it it will last the life of the tractor.
