Front Left Hand Spindle replacement

My Massey Ferguson 40 Industrial has some sort of JB weld and a bolt wrapped around the head of the spindle to make it work is my best guess. I am hoping that if I buy a new spindle with a bushing and bearing set and be good to go. It currently works as is but don't want it to go out on me unexpectedly.

Thoughts on best course of action?

I would guess thrust bearing on the bottom of the knee is gone. Looks like they used the bolt to take up the slop, wonder what the JB weld is hiding. A replacement steering arm is around $200.00

Yep hiding something for sure. Pull it all apart and see what you are truely dealing with before you order parts.
