Massey Ferguson 135 Identity

I've read 3 or 4 different places to find the serial # on my dad's 135 tractor. I don't see it anywhere. I have it cleaned up and serviced and gonna try to sell it to help pay for his care. He's 92 and don't need it any longer. I just need to know what year it is. It's a gas 4 cylinder with a generator. Can anyone narrow down the possible year models for me. Thanks for reading.

Look on the left side under the instrument panel. That is where my tag is. Assuming of course it's still there..

Tag is 'pop' riveted on the dash, if it is missing, and if it has a Perkins motor that is original you can get a 'near enough' date from the
under side of the oil sump.

If it is a 4 cylinder, it is a 1965,66, or early 67. I think that about mid year 67 they went to all 3 cylinder Perkins, gas and diesel.

If the head lights are on the fenders it probably a 1965, first year.

I think they all went to alternators in 1967, the 4 cylinder Continental gas was carried over to the newer 200 series tractors.

Thanks to all of you. I can see 4 small holes on the lower left of the dash panel. I'm sure the tag must have been there. Why it would be missing is a mystery. Dad has owned this tractor for at least 30 years. It has the headlights on the fenders so I'm gonna call it a 65-66 year. I just wanted to be able to tell a potential buyer. Thanks again!
