MF 180 steering problems

MF180 I pretty much have figured out my Saginaw hydramotor has failed. I have 1500 psi on pressure line of power steering pump at idle. I have looked for parts, or replacement of the hydramotor, not available. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert to the char-lynn orbitrol hand pump. I do see it would take converted hydraulic lines at best. Looking forward to advice.

There is a guy around, I think his username was something like inno, or innov8, that converted the power steering on his 202 Workbull to a Char-lynn style system.

Ah, here it is:

I believe the steering motor from a M-F 300 combine is the same as the 180. The nose cone needs to be changed. Just switch the cones from your old unit to the combine one. I did that on mine, and it did bolt right up, but the problem was in the rack and pinion unit.
