Continental f226

I am rebuilding an F226 and my I T manual says if I replace the cam bearings they need line bored /honed after installation. Is there anyone in the aftermarket making bearings that do not need this machining process. I am also thinking the exhaust valves will need seats as it appears as though the valves seated in the block and may be worn beyond repair. Basically I guess I am looking for a parts supplier familure with this engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't recall ever having to rework Continental cam bearings after installation. Montes Equipment in Chicago is a NOS Continental parts dealer. Exhaust valve seats can be purchased by most machine shops that do valve work.

I never did that when I rebuilt mine and it runs just fine but I never had the I T manual either so not 100% saying the way I did it is right or not.
