Testing Multipower

I want to rig up a test pump to supply pressure to the multipower clutch pack on a 50 Massey. My thoughts are to disconnect existing pump and then plumb directly into the selector valve in the bell housing. I do not know what pressure and GPM would be needed. Can someone help with this? I believe the selector valve in the bellhousing has a built in relief to maintain proper pressure. Is this correct? Thinking of using a 12 volt dc pump for this but need to know pressure and gpm required. Any reason this won't work?
Thanks for any help.

The late two stage pump had an internal relief valve set about 700 PSI if I recall. The shift spool block does have a pressure regulator that was 175-200 PSI, again going by memory. Far as GPM 2-3 would be plenty. Your 50 would have the single stage MP supply pump only, and there was no pressure tap port on those tractors. Even the first 100 series had no place to check it, that came on the later models with a tap plug on the PTO shift cover. I've used my shop air to do the same thing, not the best test but you should hear the clutch lock in high with air too.
