Copper coat or not on AD3-152 head gasket

Does anyone use copper coat on the new head gasket? On my older case tractors I normally put it on both sides. Dick

I use either copper coat or aluminum paint. On a used gasket I use the paint for sure and yes if it is a metal gasket some times you can reuse them I have more the once

Ok, I've seen this a few times, and still don't know what kind of beast this "copper coat" is that is being mentioned. Brand name please?

And I just don't see how "aluminum paint" would be anything but a failure waiting to happen, as most of them are enamel based and will harden, become brittle, and may shrink. Maybe if the engine compression is low enough (~7:1), and at standard tractor engine RPM's (~2000), it doesn't matter.

On the old style metal shim head gaskets i have used:
Permatex 80697 Copper Spray-A-Gasket Hi-Temp Adhesive Sealant with good results.
