I am also in the middle of replacing a fan belt on MF135 Diesel. I have undone the adjusting nut and tilted the generator as far as it will go to accept the belt, but I still cannot get the belt into its wheel slot on the generator. It seems just that little bit too short. I'm pretty sure its the correct belt, s.18642, and it looks just like the one pictured by cedarsnapp. Any ideas? My first post - from Australia.
